Paternal Lineage

My Austrian Lineage descends from the Mountainous Regions of Tyrol.
My father was born in Salzburg, and grew up in Walz where he did his schooling.
Ferdinand Florian Wirrer sailed around the world selling sheep to Middle-Eastern Countries until he grew tired of his life at sea and jumped ship in 1964 at Port Adelaide.
Fred opened up a cafe in Western Australia and traded for several years until he decided to venture north after hearing there was work available in the newly established Cape York mining town of Weipa.
He began work with Comalco mid-late 1960's prior to my conception in 1968.
